Retail Sales Associate

Motorcycles, skateboards, low-riders, hardcore/punk music, and flannels in our closets. That’s who we are, and we were tired of flannels that didn’t fit well, wrinkled, shrunk, and faded. We worked hard and did it better and rolled out the first Dixxon flannel in 2013, and we haven’t looked back since! We continue to be all about change!

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for experienced retail staff associates, both full-time and part-time who will be the face of our brand, engaging customers to provide them with the best shopping experience they have ever had!

RESPONSIBILTIES

• Welcome every customer with a smile and welcoming demeanor, offering product information, brand education, and assistance in selecting & pairing items. We’re talking 5 star google review experiences!
• Assist customers in building a great personal wardrobe and fostering the love of our brand. Identify their needs & wants, provide recommendations, and help coordinate complete looks.
• Maintain an Instagram-worthy store through display merchandising, product management, and general housekeeping.
• Understand and promote current sales, promotions, and loyalty programs to enhance customer experience and drive sales.  
• Answer customer questions about store policies, services, and products, providing helpful information to enhance customer satisfaction.  Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appearing sales floor, including product restock/floor replenishment and through creative display and wall merchandising.  
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, processing payments, returns and customer transactions efficiently and accurately.  
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets, store goals, and contribute to a high-energy, positive work environment.  
• Report to the Store Manager or Assistant Manager, ensuring that daily tasks align with store goals and standards.  
• Be positive and supportive of your team because a happy team is a successful team.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 6 months of prior retail, sales, or customer service experience. 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with both customers, supervisors, and fellow team members.  
• Availability to work a flexible schedule between the hours of 11 AM to 6 PM Sunday through Monday, some holidays, and overtime as needed.  
• Ability to stand & walk for extended periods of time, lift boxes/weight up to 50 lbs in alignment with the physical demands of retail work.

SCHEDULE

Must be available to work 11 AM – 6 PM every day of the week. Able to work overtime during peak season, some holidays, sales, and high order volume releases.
